Dear KFC: Doubling down on what?

An early heart attack? Bad taste? Jamming foods together that were never meant to be in the same room, let alone on the same plate?

According to the site, IGN.com, "Fast-food chain KFC is offering a Double Down Dog at select locations in the Philippines. The Double Down Dog is a hot dog covered in cheese and wrapped up with a chicken breast instead of bread. It's only available today and tomorrow, with each KFC location only serving 50 per day to customers, according to a Facebook post by KFC Philippines."

Good news (at least for diet-conscious folks and their favorite cardiologists), "USA Today reports that KFC has no plans to bring the Double Down Dog to American locations. The new hot dog meal is similar to the Double Down sandwich, which was introduced in 2010 and offered in the United States. The original Double Down was bacon and two pieces of cheese hugged by chicken fillets."
